Humminbird Piranhamax 4 - Fishfinder / Sounder

Install the Humminbird PiranhaMAX™ 4 Fishfinder to get a fresh perspective on what's below your boat. The compact fishfinder has a 4.3-inch color LCD screen that displays bottom contour and fish activity. Choose from two sonar beams with the Dual Beam Sonar system feature. Get greater resolution and more detail with the narrow beam which helps identify sealife, and structures on the seabed. Whereas you can select the wider beam that covers a lot more area, giving you a better idea of what's beneath. Switch the sonar beams as desired, and get more reliable results than a static solution. 200/455kHz sonar frequencies are supported for using both types of beams. The PiranhaMAX 4 sonar unit can give readings up to the depth of 600 feet.

When moving, the Humminbird 410150-1 PiranhaMAX™ 4 charts the bottom contour line by reading the changes in depth. Sonar return intensity is denoted by a range of colors, with blue indicating a weak return, yellow indicating a medium return and red indicating a strong return. Weaker returns usually mean there is vegetation, small fish, or a soft bottom which could be mud or sand. Strong returns most of the times come from hard or rocky bottoms which could be compacted sediment, rocks, or even fallen trees. Advanced signal processing is used to interpret returned sonar signals to identify and display a Fish symbol, using the Fish ID+ feature. An XNT 9 28 T transducer, 7Ah battery, and charger are included with the PiranhaMAX 4 transducer.
