The double socket arm of the RAM Mounts RAM-111U has a distinctive hourglass shape. While the (C-size) 1.5-inch diameter balls at both ends boost the adjustability of the system, the hourglass shape ensures its best possible performance. The round base plate has a 2.5-inch diameter and pre-drilled holes matching the AMPS pattern. The rectangular marine base has a length of 6.25 inches and a width of 2 inches. This plate too comes with pre-drilled holes matching the hole patterns of various marine electronic devices.

The RAM Mounts RAM-111U Drill-Down Marine Electronic Mount has powder-coated marine-grade aluminum construction. This material makes it durable and long-lasting even in harsh marine environments.
