With the computer watch, you get free access to polarpersonaltrainer.com, where you can track your progress by either entering your data into the site manually or by a data transfer using the optional FlowLink. The site acts as a personal diary where you can visualize your data and customize your training regime. You get an H1 coded transmitter with the wristwatch, to be worn around the chest that fits comfortably and snugly. This transmits heart rate signals to the backlit screen of the watch that contains the training computer.

The training computer displays information about your heart rate, calories burned, fat burning and cardiovascular fitness zones. Change the display even when you are wearing gloves or when you can't access the buttons with the “HeartTouch” feature. This allows you to get the information displayed on the screen without touching it, by just bringing the training computer close to the heart rate's sensor until you hear a beep.
