The Magellan eXplorist TR5 Trail and Street portable navigator makes it easy to stay on the right path on the roads. With one touch, you can also start tracking while you're driving on the basemap. When recording a track, TR5 makes it easy to save waypoints and personal observations. When you save or publish your track, all of your waypoints and observations are saved with the route so that you'll know about any obstacles or beautiful views that await them.
The TR5's base maps cover the entire United States and Canada giving you a detailed look at your off-road environs. Also, it includes maps of highways and secondary roads, along with hundreds of thousands of outdoor and off-road points of interest. Magellan loaded this GPS with over 120,000 designated off-road trails, so no matter where you live, you can start exploring immediately.
TR5 has a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that shows you your surroundings in an eye-friendly manner. It features a built-in browser, so you can establish an account through the trailhead portal and have access to the user. TR5 safety features include off-course notifications and Backtrack. It has a built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery with up to 1 hour of life. By giving off-roaders access to this information, you can be more aware of your fellow off-roaders observations for safer and more enjoyable trail riding experiences with this TR5 Portable GPS.
