The Ubiquiti EdgePoint™ R6 Intelligent WISP Control Point is designed specifically for WISP control with fiber backhaul and versatile powering capabilities. This router features FIberProtect to significantly reduce ESD failures and electromagnetic interference, improving data signal integrity for long distance connectivity. The EP-R6 comprises powerful routing features that provide redundancy and increases performance for outdoor wireless links. It provides VLAN interfaces for network segmentation with the support of routing protocols like OSPF, RIP, and BGP. The EP-R6 consists a total of six ports: 5 RJ45 ports with 24V / 0.7A passive PoE, and one SFP ports for fiber connectivity.
This switch offers a quick and flexible configuration by command line with direct access to standard Linux tools and shell commands. Its graphical user interface is designed for convenient setup and control and provides virtual view of ports displaying physical connectivity, speed, and status. The ruggedized case with UV resistance withstands harsh weather conditions including wind, rain and snow
