The Ubiquiti EdgeRouter™ 4-Port Router has three Gigabit RJ45 ports along with one Gigabit SFP port for fiber uplink. This router gives a routing performance of 3.4 million packets per second for 64-byte packets and 4 Gbps for packets 128 bytes or larger in size. With a powerful 4-Core, 1Ghz processor and powered by the proprietary EdgeOS™ with the EdgeMAX® advance routing technology, EdgeRouter4 efficiently provides enterprise level features and carrier-class reliability in a compact and cost-effective unit.
EdgeRouter™4 has a 1GB system memory with 4 GB eMMC on-board flash storage. The intuitive graphical interface EdgeOS® that powers the router brings in easier configuration with an integrated CLI, and even the convenience and flexibility to manage the device remotely. Among other robust features of EdgeOS®, the router gets VLAN interfaces for network segmentation, various monitoring tools, security features and Quality of Service (QoS) that makes this router a sophisticated, next generation performance router.
