The Ubiquiti LiteBeam™ 5AC Lightweight airMAX®AC Gen 2 CPE is an ultra-lightweight CPE device that provides 23dBi of gain for long distance connectivity and improves noise immunity with the use of directional antenna pattern. This lightweight product features multiple input multiple output (MIMO) functionality with three-axis alignment and provides easy and quick installation along with airOS®8 technology that supports airMAX protocol with real-time RF analysis. The LiteBeam™ AC integrates with separate Wi-Fi radio for the fast and easy setup using a mobile device which has UNMS™ app that is easily available at App Store (iOS) and Google Play™ (Android). The LiteBeam™ is a combination of hardware and software that delivers a combination of throughput and range with cost-effective value.
The LiteBeam™ 5AC Gen 2 improves noise immunity by sending the RF energy in a tighter beamwidth with the focus in one direction that blocks or spatially filters out a noise. An InnerFeed® technology integrates the entire radio system into the antenna feed, and airMAX TDMA protocol enhances network performance and scalability. The airMAX® technology uses TDMA protocol which allows each client to send and receive data using pre-designated time slots scheduled by an intelligent AP controller. This “time slot” method eliminates hidden node collisions and maximizes airtime efficiency.
