Garmin Panoptix PS31 (Part # 010-01284-01) is unlike any sonar that you have ever seen on the water. Panoptix Forward transducer gives you the ability to see the bottom of see, structure, and fish swimming around your boat in real time even if your boat is stationary. With Panoptix PS31 sonar transducer you get two impressive views, LiveVü Forward and RealVü 3-D Forward. LiveVü Forward feature updates the whole view with a single ping and has a more "live video" look, giving real-time moving sonar images. You can see fish swimming toward or away from your vessel. You can see a large target and fish small baitfish swimming around, even your lure as you reel it in. RealVü 3-D Forward feature updates a part of the 3-D volume with each ping and takes 1 to 4 seconds to update the whole volume. This view shows the bottom and fish in the water column coming toward the boat. RealVü 3-D sweeps forward, and the history on screen is only one sweep.
