The RAM Mounts RAM-D-202-25-C-202U system consists of a large round plate and a rectangular device mounting plate, both with a (D-size) 2.25-inch ball. These ball-base plates are connected using a double socket arm. The 3.68-inch diameter, large round plate forms a strong and stable base. It has pre-drilled holes that help in instant installation. Similarly, the 2-inch x 5-inch rectangular plate mounts the device or gimbal brackets. It has a simple 4-hole pattern that is pre-drilled in a 1.5-inch x 4.5-inch center to center space.

Shocks and vibrations will not hinder the device as it gets absorbed by the patented ball and socket system.
