The Matrix AIS also has class D DSC and distress functions which can be used to transmit a MAYDAY signal including vessel identification, its latitude/ longitude and time in case of emergency. The built-in loud hailer also has 30 watts of power with programmed listen back and fog signal generator so that you can listen to your last selected channel despite the environmental disturbance. Contact with you fishing buddies or cruising with RAM3 Second Station Control, which allows you to control another VHF device at second station remotely.
