In-Hull transducers are installed inside a fiberglass hull and it is suspended in a liquid-filled tank and transmits its sonar directly through a solid fiberglass hull. The in-hull CHIRP transducer cannot be damaged by debris, hauling or trailering and it is not exposed to marine growth, and there is no drag. And, the broad frequency band of a CHIRP transducer lets you select the best frequency for your hull’s thickness. Garmin GT15M-IH 8-pin transducer four plastic tanks feature CHIRP traditional sonar that identifies fish using 85 to 165 kHz frequencies and produces 13° to 24° cone beams.
