Polar FT7 Training Computer Watch monitors your heart rate and records it so that you can monitor your progress toward weight loss and fitness. The wristwatch comes with an H1 coded transmitter to be worn around the chest that fits comfortably and snugly. The transmitter forwards heart rate signals to the backlit screen of the watch that contains the training computer. This displays information about your heart rate, calories burned, fat burning and cardiovascular fitness zones. Change the display even when you are wearing gloves or when you can't access the buttons with the “HeartTouch” feature. This allows you to get the information displayed on the screen without touching it, by just bringing the training computer close to the heart rate sensor until you hear a beep. Alarm and stopwatch functions are also included on the watch to help track workouts. Set your heart rate limit and when you cross your permissible heart rate limit the alarm in FT7 will beep.
The Polar FT7 watch works 30 meters underwater which means you can wear it comfortably while swimming to get the heart readings. With the computer watch, you get free access to polarpersonaltrainer.com, where you can track your progress by either entering your data into the site manually or by a data transfer using the optional FlowLink. The site acts as a personal diary that lets you visualize your data and customize your training regime.
