Sturdy square multi-section legs support holds 30 gallons of feed, with a maximum weight of 200 pounds. For further stability, the feeder comes with Feeder Feet for the bases of the legs.
The funnel and spin plate are metal and shielded from the wind and from varmints. A 6-volt battery operates the feeder, and this also has an external power port, a battery power indicator and a feed level estimator.
