While USB 2.0 port on hand control allows you to connect directly to PC. Another striking feature is All-Star Polar Alignment, This helps you to do a very precise computerized polar alignment in mere minutes, using any bright star. The CGEM II also features StarBright XLT coating which improves light transmission and reflectivity.
Let's talk about the mount, The CGEM II Computerized Equatorial mount provides a convenient user experience with a payload capacity of 40 pounds. While adjustable 2" steel legs tripod improves stability for exceptional rigidity and support. This mount can smoothly and accurately slew and track heavier optical tube assemblies (OTAs). The Dual-fit Vixen/CG-5 and Losmandy/CGE dovetail saddle make the mount compatible with most plates used today. Celestron CGEM II also improves its usage with the SkySync GPS unit for a higher level of precision during setup and alignment.
