Big Value For the Money

by Star Man

Great scope for beginners or entry level astronomers. Reasonable price and the assembly and set up are not bad at all. Compared to others who bought this item, I had an easy time setting mine up and it only took 30 minutes total to assemble and balance. Unit does require eyepiece and lens upgrade to really improve observation quality but for the price it is well worth it.

Excellent telescope

by Tom E.

I did a ton of research on telescopes before buying this one and I learned that this model is best suited for beginners or intermediate users. I was able to see the moon and some planets in great detail and the quality met my expectations once i got used to operating the telescope.

Nice Telescope!

by Saul S.

I got this as a gift, was a little frustrated at first but once I got used to adjusting the scope for clearer viewing. I have actually taken the scope with me on a few trips and the unit is very durable. I also bought some additional Celestron eyepieces (24mm to 8mm zoom) and the 1.25" collimation eyepiece.

Replaced my old 60mm refractor

by Ben S.

Study unit, I can easily view planets and stars and the moon of course. I really like the mount on this telescope as it allows for you to easily track down the object you want to look at.
