Humminbird Piranhamax 4 PT - Fishfinder / Sounder

Install the Humminbird PiranhaMAX™ 4 PT Fishfinder to get a new perspective on what's below your boat. The small fishfinder has a 4.3 in. 256 color LCD screen that displays fish activity and Bottom Contour. A soft-sided carrying case helps protect the device while not in use. Advanced signal processing interprets returned sonar signals to identify fishes and display a Fish symbol, using the Fish ID+ feature. Choose between narrow and wide sonar beams thanks to the Dual Beam Sonar system feature. Get better resolution and higher detail with the narrow beam which helps identify fish and contour. Whereas selecting the wider beam that covers a lot more area, gives you a better idea of what's down below. 200/455kHz sonar frequencies are used for producing the two types of beams. When moving, the Humminbird 410170-1 PiranhaMAX™ 4 PT reads the changes in depth to chart the bottom contour line. Various sonar return intensities are denoted by a range of colors, where colors blue, yellow and red indicate a weak, medium and strong return respectively. Weaker returns typically mean there is a soft bottom which could be mud or sand, vegetation, or small fish. Strong returns usually mean hard or rocky bottoms which could be compacted sediment, rocks, or even fallen trees. Along with the soft-sided carrying case, an XNT 9 28 T transducer, charger, and 7Ah battery are included with the PiranhaMAX 4 PT transducer.
