The Kenwood ProTalk NX-340ISU16P is a compact and intrinsically safe, 5-watt UHF two-way radio that offers a dual operation in FM analog as well as NXDN digital modes. As an advantage of the advanced digital technology, the users can enjoy a high-powered audio delivery with superior clarity, inherent secured voice, and low noise. The 16 channel, 5W portable radio also provides an increased effective coverage area as much as up to 20% over analog. With its 5-watt transmitt power, it provides a coverage up to 370,000 sq.ft. in steel or concrete reinforced building or up to 33 floors.
The Kenwood ProTalk NX-340ISU16P has 99 preset frequencies and 32 channels in two zones, operating max. 16 each in analog and digital. It utilizes AMBE+2™ VOCODER technology to provide an enhanced audio quality and a clear and crispy sound, even at highway speeds. The 2-way radio has programmable function keys, and a 16-code voice inversion scrambler and NXDN® encryption for securing your communications.
