The Mackie HR824mk2 2-Way Studio Monitor is a high-resolution bi-amplified active monitor with a low-distortion woofer and 1-inch ferrofluid cooled titanium dome tweeter on front. The HR824mk2 monitor features Power Precision Amplification with separate onboard amplifiers for each driver, onboard active crossovers and time-correction circuitry, which helps ensure highs and lows reach your ears at the same time. With the Passive Radiator, reproduces low frequencies with lower distortion and at a higher sound pressure level (SPL) than a simple port or duct.
The Mackie HR824mk2 2-Way Studio Monitor features a wood cabinet, with custom internal bracing to increase its strength and rigidity in desired locations. It features Aluminum Zero Edge Baffle that minimizes diffraction for a crystal clear image of your mix, and effectively controls sound waves for detailed lows, full, articulate mids, and shimmering highs.
