It employs the Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) airMAX protocol that brings in an intelligent AP controller into action. This controller schedules time slots for each client to send and receive data. It is an advantage of this "time slot" method, that the Ubiquiti LOCOM2 improves the latency, throughput, and scalability, in one word - the performance of the CPE.

Management of the Ubiquiti NanoStation Loco M2 is quite simple. It comes with airOS®, airView®, and airControl® software for versatile management, with each bringing its own advantages. The Ubiquiti airOS® firmware technology is intuitive and has a design that enables a powerful performance. Get an advanced spectrum analyzer and plan an interference-free network with the airView® software. The airControl® is an intuitive software that lets you manage the entire network that you set up using Ubiquiti devices.
